Reports and Work Orders

Schedule repairs ... review deficiencies ... and more

The reporting modules of MR COMPLIANCE enable you to manage your data to develop maintenance work orders, provide exception reports on outstanding deficiencies, produce historical reports on municipal assets to indicate trends over time, and provide many other reports to enable you to manage your asset base more effectively. Some of these functions are described below.

Routine and Winter Patrol Report

These reports are based on the OGRA samples. Each road patrolled appears as a row, and, in the case of Routine Patrols, the number of instances of each deficiency appears in the appropriate column, with a blank entry indicating compliance. In the Winter Patrol Report, the ambient and winter event conditions are displayed.

Both reports make provision for comments. By reviewing past patrols, patrol reports can be viewed and further comments added. The Patrol Report can then be re-saved with the updated information.

Creating Work Orders

The optional Work Orders module allows users to their repair deadlines, the deficiency type, or the road section on which the problem occurred. Once the user has assembled the desired deficiencies using the various filters, the work order can be created. Following its issue, the status of the work order can be monitored from the Manage Existing Work Orders interface.

The work order lists the deficiencies which are grouped by road section and the asset against which the deficiency was recorded.

Managing Work Orders

Once created, work orders allow MMS deficiencies to be efficiently tracked and managed in a number of ways through the software’s Work Order Management screen.

Outstanding work orders are filtered by creation date. Current work orders can be viewed, closed, or revised. These options enable users to update individual deficiencies leaving the work order as outstanding; or to close the work order removing any non-repaired deficiencies if necessary.

When reviewing a work order, all the deficiencies that had been assigned to that work order are displayed, and users can add repair dates for deficiencies as work is completed.

Deficiency Detail Report

This report allows users to summarize the deficiencies that have been documented in the system based on a number of filter options.

It allows the user to select deficiencies based on a variety of variables namely the date the problem was found, the road section on which it is located, the asset type damaged, the type of deficiency, and finally whether or not the deficiency has been repaired.

Patrol Status Report

This report provides a summary on whether or not each of the roads in the system is in compliance with Ontario Regulation 239/02 with respect to patrol frequency (determined by the road class). This report can be run at any time providing an accurate up-to-date summary.
