Technical Operations

AKA applies its broad range of engineering expertise and practical experience to its daily activities in projects such as those listed below. Additionally, AKA uses this skill base to provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems, both on the design table and in the field.

AKA’s continual development of custom-designed engineering and systems integration software tools substantially reduces project costs, and design and construction/commissioning timelines.

Each of the these projects required the development of vessel-specific training unique to the systems installed and the level of operational requirements. The style of these training programs ranged from the formal classroom setting to on-the-job casualty/vessel shakedown training.
